Color coated steel sheet is a steel sheet with a colored organic coating or film on the surface of galvanized, aluminized, tin-plated or cold-rolled steel sheet. It plays the role of protecting the metal on the one hand, and playing a decorative role on the other. This steel plate coating can be divided into organic coating, inorganic coating and composite coating, of which organic coating steel plate is the most develped.
    The surface of the plate is new color, strong adhesion, good antirust and anti-corrosion properties and good decorative properties, and can be cut, bent, drilled, riveted and rolled edge processing. Color-coated steel sheets are mainly used as wall panels for exterior walls, but direct use of walls requires insulation; in addition, they can be used as roof panels, corrugated panels, waterproof breathable panels, corrosion-resistant equipment and components, as well as furniture, car shells, waterproof barriers, etc.
Performance
(1) Anti-pollution performance. Color coated steel plate has strong anti-pollution ability, ketchup, lipstick, coffee drinks, edible oil, etc. will be coated on the surface of polyester type coating, placed for 24h, washed and dried with washing liquid, its surface gloss, color and luster without change.
(2) High temperature resistance. The color coated steel plate is continuously heated in the oven at 120℃ for 90 hours. There is no obvious change in the gloss and color of the coating.
(3) Low temperature resistance. The color coated steel plate is placed at -54℃ for 24h. There is no significant change in the bending and impact resistance of the coating.
(4) Boiling water resistance. The specimens of various coating products are immersed in boiling water for 60 minutes, and there is no change in surface gloss and color, no blistering, softening, expansion, etc. 

    Color coated steel has excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance and good processing performance. It is widely used in construction, home appliances, transportation, automobile industry, steel mills, power plants, electrical industry, medical uses, advertising, furniture industry, and so on. Also, pre-painted steel is available in different base metals, paintings, coating thicknesses, coating methods, surface treatment methods, etc.

    Color coated steel is often used as roofing or wall panel for residential buildings, including civil residences, villas, guard boxes, interior decorations, army barracks, and other fields.

3. Prefab Houses

    The prefab house is mainly used in construction sites as temporary offices, dormitories, and storage rooms. When choosing color coated sheets, practicality and cost will be more important while ensuring safety. 

4. General Industrial Plants

    The use environment of general industrial plants and warehouses is not corrosive. When choosing color coated steel, it requires more practicability and cost-effectiveness, rather than higher corrosion resistance and aging resistance. Therefore, PE color coated steel is the most widely used in general industrial plants and warehouses. 

1、Electroplated steel
Galvanized steel sheet is used as the base material, and the front and back side are plated to ensure its corrosion resistance.
The first layer on the front side is primer, usually epoxy primer because of its strong adhesion to metal, and the back side is also coated with epoxy resin or acrylic resin.
The second layer used to be alkyd resin, usually polyester lacquer and acrylic lacquer.
2.PVC steel sheet
One is produced by the method of coating and pasting PVC, called plastic-coated PVC steel plate; the other is printed or embossed PVC film on the already formed steel plate, called coated PVC steel plate.
3. Insulation coated steel plate
Insulation coated steel plate is a 15-17mm thick layer of polystyrene foam or rigid polyurethane foam pasted on the back of color coated steel plate, which can be used to improve heat and sound insulation.
